Birmingham Opera Company came together with Culture Central, artists and arts organisations from across the West Midlands to release a series of new 60-second films through the hashtag #ItGetsLighterFromHere. They combine hope, optimism and – in our case – they take inspiration from the prelude to Wagner's RhineGold. The #ItGetsLighterFromHere commissions represent a huge cross-section of artforms and artists living and working in the West Midlands.
